One photo album and six 8mm film loops. Photos are a mixture of amateur and professional models, including several Irving Klaw rarities featuring Bettie Page, Tempest Storm, mixture of nudes and lingerie, some BDSM and foot worship. Spicy for the times, tame by today’s standards.

LOT B

1966 Polaroid Model 20 “Swinger” camera and 125 amateur Polaroids of 2812 Virginia Avenue, Santa Monica. Lovely collection of “bathing beauties,” some nude, shot between 1968-1983. Warning: some subjects may be under 18.

LOT C

SAUCY collection of retro “marital aids,” many with original packaging. Hollywood Vibra-Tone, Norelco Massager, others. Lovely lingerie lot as well, including vintage Fredrick’s of Hollywood teddies, negligees, nighties and garters.

I’m very sorry for your loss, Mr. Lawson. Yes, we do estate cleaning. No fees except for garbage disposal/receptacle rental. We keep all auction proceeds. Yes, we can be there Saturday and Sunday. Yes, we know the North of Montana neighborhood. We do a lot of business there. Your mother may have even known some of our other clients. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Large collection of rare “Tijuana Bibles” featuring Blondie, Popeye, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Little Orphan Annie. Originals, not reproductions. Art by Doc Rankin, Wesley Morse. Two 8mm “What The Butler Saw” cartoon reels included.

LOT F

Fabulous documentation of mid-century Valley nightlife. Photographs and menus from The Friendship, Keith’s in the Valley, others. Correspondence, bodybuilding magazines and several spectacular costumes, including Dolly Parton, Cher (no wig) and Marilyn’s white dress. Two breast forms included, several wigs in their original boxes. Costumes are approximately a men’s medium, shoes are 12.

German heritage. Hand-made dirndls and lederhosen. Military uniforms, flags, armbands and paraphernalia. Several wonderful beer steins in clay, stoneware and porcelain.

Large lot of 1980s magazines. Playboy, Hustler, Seventeen, as well as underground fetish ‘zines, including “Babysitter Confidential” “Training Jane” and “Lola’s Promise.” Also included is a box of photos of the Lady Vikings track team, 1986-1990.

Delightful set of 1930s pier photography. Sunbathers, cheeky “wind machine” upskirts. Great views of the La Monica ballroom in the background.

I’m sorry, Mr. Lawson, but it’s in the contract. You’re welcome to bid on whatever is available, including your mother’s estate. We disclose the name of the seller at the end of the auction, or you can have the name removed for an additional fee. There’s no need for threats, Mr. Lawson. It’s all in the contract.

Over 100 pulp novels, all in excellent condition. Sin Hipster, The Sex Cure, E.S.P Orgy.  Some science fiction and detective novels too, including Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, and Erle Stanley Gardner.
